Silvus CONNECT Remote Sessions: ADVANCED STREAMCASTER TRAINING 9-Part Series
6/25/20: MIMO & MN-MIMO FUNDAMENTALS: Session 1 will provide a foundational understanding of MIMO wireless principles and Silvus unique MN-MIMO technologies.

7/9/20: MESH NETWORKING: Our 2nd session will provide a general overview of how Silvus StreamCaster radios work together to form robust /reliable mobile ad hoc networks, (MANET).

7/23/20: TCP/IP NETWORKING BASICS: In session 3 we will discuss a range of networking basics including Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), User Datagram Protocol (UDP), Multicast and more.

8/6/20: ANTENNA BASICS: Session 4 addresses antennas and RF wave propagation. We will discuss the performance characteristics of different antenna types, polarization, gain, radiation patterns, and how to effectively select the correct antenna for the application.

8/20/20: STREAMCASTER HARDWARE OVERVIEW: In session 5 we will review the full line of StreamCaster products StreamCaster radios, physical connections, power options, mounting solutions, and general radio operation.

9/3/20: STREAMSCAPE GUI OVERVIEW: Session 6 will cover the basic operation of our StreamScape graphical user interface (GUI), laptop configuration, and review our network management tools.

9/17/20: RADIO SETTINGS & SYSTEM OPTIMIZATION: Our 7th session will discuss all radio settings, configuration, and system optimization techniques.

10/1/20: COMMON CHALLENGES: Session 8 looks at many of the common challenges you may face when deploying tactical wireless networks. Topics will include interference, IP address conflicts, delay spread, antenna issues and more.

10/15/20: NETWORK PLANNING AND DESIGN TOOLS: The 9th and final session in the series brings together all of the topics discussed in this series, to effectively plan and design networks using the Silvus Link Budget Calculator and other tools.
